The nearest train station is Kyle of Lochalsh, served by ScotRail from Inverness (approximately 2.5 hours). From Kyle of Lochalsh:

  • Local bus services cross the Skye Bridge to Kyleakin
  • Taxis are available from Kyle of Lochalsh station
  • The crossing takes under 5 minutes

We recommend checking ScotRail and Stagecoach for current timetables.

The nearest major airports are:

  • Inverness Airport — approximately 1 hour 30 minutes by car
  • Glasgow Airport — approximately 3 hours 30 minutes by car
