Once the old dance hall for the village, and scene of plenty of dancing, the cottage has also been a home for Shepherds working on the Farm.
Richard Perry wrote about his time here in the 1930s in “I Went A’Shepherding”.
Thoroughly updated, it still allows some of the layers of history to shine through.
The cottage has panoramic views out over the villages of Kyleakin, Kyle and Loch Alsh.
The best washing up views out to Loch Alsh, with all the fittings including dishwasher & induction hob.
Full of character, the sitting room has cosy seating, a wood burning stove and plenty
of space to socialise.
At the same level as the rest of the living space, the deck affords the same panoramic
views in the fresh air.
The Cottage at Old Kyle Farm is located just over the beautifully scenic Skye Bride, once you have crossed Skye bridge, at the roundabout continue straight onto Old Kyle Farm Road, continue on this road where you will find Old Kyle Farm at the end of the Road.
